INOCHI OFFICIALLY KICKS OFF THE 1,000 TREES PLANTING CAMPAIGN WITH GAIA NATURE CONSERVATION

Recently, Inochi “landed” at the Mua Xuan (Spring) Farm in Hau Giang, Can Tho to personally plant the very first young trees. This marks the beginning of Inochi’s 1,000-tree campaign to protect biodiversity in collaboration with Gaia Nature Conservation.

Currently, at the Mua Xuan Farm, about 50 hectares of degraded melaleuca forest are in need of restoration to help improve the forest’s ecological function in regulating water resources, preventing salinization, responding to climate change, creating habitats for wildlife, nurturing aquatic larvae, and supporting the livelihoods of local communities.

In this afforestation effort, Inochi planted over 100 Melaleuca cajuput seedlings, each around 80–120 cm tall. Once mature, melaleuca trees not only grow fast and root strongly but also form a massive “natural carbon reservoir,” thanks to their ability to absorb and store CO₂ at approximately five times greater capacity than many other species.

Beyond these melaleuca trees, Inochi will continue to accompany Gaia in forest restoration at various sites including Cuc Phuong Forest, Phong Dien Forest, Ta Kou Forest, U Minh Ha Forest, and West Sea Dike Forest.

Let’s plant a thousand sprouts with Inochi and nurture a greener future together!
