• Wash and thoroughly dry the pot or pan
• Heat over medium flame for about 1 minute
• Test by sprinkling a few drops of water onto the surface when the droplets bead up and roll around before evaporating, it’s ready
• Pour in cooking oil to coat the entire interior. Heat until the oil is almost smoking (2–3 minutes)
• Turn off the heat, let cool, and then wipe away any excess oil
• Repeat this process weekly or monthly to maintain the non‑stick effect
